​Hi, I'm Madi Hastings!

I'm a surface pattern and fabric designer, serial entrepreneur, and hobby botanist. Growing up, I had a colossal affinity for fabric. I'd walk down the aisles, thumbing through coordinating fat quarters. However, despite my mother's well-intentioned efforts to involve me in the domestic arts (she never enjoyed them and hoped that I might), my gruesome experiences with needle-turn applique and deep-seated hatred for following instructions quashed any quilty bee in my bonnet. 

Fast forward ten years....I married my awesome husband, and met my wonderful MIL who owns a quilt shop (read: instigator of fabric addiction). Under her patient tutelage, I learned some quilting basics and discovered the joys of creating.

To anyone that feels that their creativity isn't enough---There have been many times I've felt discouraged in my artistic efforts because I've been such a late bloomer! There is no better time to start than NOW, and there is no one better to do it than YOU! 

I'm thankful for the encouragement of my mother, mother-in-law, and others in the industry that have been so supportive in my pursuits. Thank you, and God bless!
